Conference Race Jan 4 and Mesabi Invite @ Giant's Ridge (please check roster!)

No official word yet, but it looks like our Jan. 4th race will be moved to Trollhaugen. Please check back often for updates.

Here is some information The Mesabi Invite the following Saturday January 7th, 2012. This is an exciting race held on the MN State Meet course and a great opportunity for skiers.

We will be sharing a coach bus with Tartan and North leaving early Saturday morning and arriving late on Saturday night. We are limited by both number of entries and by bus space. Please check the roster below. Email Coach Anderson andersoh@invergrove.k12.mn.us as soon as possible if you are unable to attend this meet.

JV Boys: Kyle, Connor, T.J. Lucas

Varsity Girls: Margie, Andrea, Hannah, Amanda, Leah, Larisa

JV Girls: Mady, Samantha, Caroline, Rachel (alt Mikayla)

10:00 5K Classic Varsity/JV Boys

12:00 5K Classic Varsity/JV Girls
1:30 5K Freestyle Varsity/JV Boys
3:00 5K Freestyle Varsity/JV Girls

AWARDS:

The top three (3) skiers in each race (Varsity & Jr. Var. boy’s & girl’s) will receive a medal and skiers placing 4th – 10th will receive ribbons. The top three (3) teams (Varsity & Jr. Var. boy’s & girl’s) will receive individual medals. The top team – 1st place (Varsity – boy’s & girl’s) will receive a trophy. Team scoring requires 4 scoring, 2 skiing Classic Technique, 2 skiing Free Technique for both Varsity and Jr. Varsity.
